In the second quarter of 2022, Slovakia's top carpooling and ridesharing apps displayed diverse trends in downloads and active users. Data from Sensor Tower provides an insightful breakdown of these apps' performance on a unified platform.

Bolt: Request a Ride had a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from 3.7K at the end of March and peaking at 7.8K in the last week of April. This growth was complemented by a rise in weekly active users, climbing from 52.4K at the end of March to 76.6K by the end of June.

Uber - Request a ride showed a steady increase in weekly downloads, beginning at 743 and reaching 1.2K by the end of June. Similarly, its weekly active users grew from 35.5K at the end of March to 41.3K by the end of June.

BlaBlaCar: Carpooling and Bus experienced a steady rise in weekly downloads, starting at 629 and ending at 974 by the end of June. The app also saw consistent growth in weekly active users, increasing from 2.5K at the end of March to 3.8K by the end of June.

Cabify had a modest performance in weekly downloads, with numbers fluctuating between 78 and 211 throughout the quarter. Its weekly active users showed a slight increase, starting at 479 at the end of March and peaking at 716 in mid-May before settling at 532 by the end of June.

Careem – rides, food & more had lower weekly downloads, starting at 191 and declining to 49 by the end of June. The app's weekly active users also saw a decline, from 472 at the end of March to 342 by the end of June.
